For a burn, the first thing to do is put it under cold water for a few minutes, to prevent the burn from spreading. Subsequently, for a light burn, apply lavender hydrosol, either vaporizing or in compress. Repeat the application every quarter of an hour, until you no longer feel pain. Continue the following days (generally one or two days are enough) by applying the hydrosol 3 or 4 times a day, until the burning is completely disappeared.
To clean a wound, I pass a compress soaked in lavender hydrosol on the wound. Then apply hydrosol with a washable cotton several times a day. If necessary, cover the wound with a ventilated dressing, to breathe.
You can also prepare a mixture to apply on the wound or the burn with lavender, bay, immortal (Helichrysus) and cistus hydrosols in equal proportions. For a larger wound, it may be preferable to use lavender essential oil instead of the hydrosol, so that the healing is faster you can then prepare yourself in a small bottle a mixture with 10 ml of gel of Aloe Vera and 20 drops of essential lavender oil, to apply 3 or 4 times a day on the wound
The proposed protocol does not imply any particular contraindication. Lavender hydrosol like the essential oil is very well tolerated, even on a wound.
