My testimony
I am not comfortable speaking in public. I no longer do it in front of assemblies, but I still quite frequently take part in meetings during which I am likely to have to intervene. Several times it happened to me to feel bad because I was so uncomfortable in these situations, although they were quite harmless. I started to sweat, my hands were sweaty, my chest felt like it was going to explode because my heart was beating so hard, my throat was tight, my voice wouldn't come out (it's not normally loud enough). …). I now know what I should do before speaking out or in situations that stress me out. Thanks to verbena hydrosol, I no longer have these excessive anxieties.
My tip
When I'm stressed or when I know that I'm going to have to face a situation that makes me anxious, I drink a tablespoon of verbena hydrosol diluted in a little lukewarm water. It's just as good in cold water, but I prefer the taste of verbena in warm water. And I don't dilute too much so as not to have to empty my bladder too quickly if I'm in a meeting... I also always have an inhaler stick4 in my bag, the cotton wick of which I have soaked with verbena hydrosol. I can therefore breathe it discreetly regularly, when I feel the need. A few deep breaths make me feel more serene.
If I have the opportunity, when I have had a stressful day and I have difficulty calming down in the evening, I take a bath in which I pour 50 to 100 ml of verbena hydrosol. For me, it’s guaranteed zenitude.
