Ingredients for 4 persons)
1 pineapple
1 melon
1 tablespoon of rum
2 bananas
2 peaches
2 glasses of cane syrup
2 kiwis
The juice of a lemon
Geranium hydrosol.
Preparation
Peel the pineapple, remove the eyes and cut them into small cubes.
Peel the bananas, kiwis and peaches.
Cut the bananas into large slices, the peaches into thick quarters and the kiwis into half-quarters.
Arrange the pieces
fruit in a deep dish.
Add the lemon juice, rum and cane syrup.
Cover and leave for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Thread the fruit onto the skewers.
Cook the skewers for 5 minutes on the grill, turning them occasionally.
Drizzle with 1 teaspoon of geranium hydrosol per skewer when serving.
To make homemade cane syrup
Put 80 g of cane sugar, 200 ml of water, a little nutmeg, cinnamon, 1 vanilla pod cut in 2, and cook over low heat to obtain a syrup.
If you wish, you can alternate or combine with fresh fruit skewers by replacing the geranium hydrosol with that of spearmint or basil.
